How do you say “give the run-around” in Portuguese?
There are a few choices to say this in Portuguese. Remember that in English the verb “bullshit” can have a similar meaning. Sometimes the same translation for “bullshit” can be used as a translation for “give the run-around”. I have a post in Portuguese — O que singifica “bullshit” em inglês.
In Portuguese we say “enrolar” as a direct translation for “give the run-around” or for “bullshit“.
- Esse cara está me enrolando.
This guy is giving me the run-around.
- Eles não respondem as minhas perguntas e não solucionam o problema. Eles estão me enrolando.
They don’t answer my questions and don’t solve the problem. They are giving me the run-around.
- Me diga sim ou não. Eu estou cansado de rolos.
Tell me yes or no. I am tired of the run-around.
